budgeting e economico patrimoniale

Well, to be fair, Ivoted last night via absentee ballot. It was much better IMO, because Iwas able to have all my paperwork on the issues and judges and make informed, rational decisions. :^)

This saves me the hassle of trying to get to the polling place after work on a Tuesday, complicated by the fact that James has my car in the evenings.

Life, overall is decent. Iexpect it to be better in about 6 hours when Iapos;m home from my mid-terms.

As part of my job, I have to go over to the UW Medical Center to audit research regulatory and subject binders. Although there is a very good system for getting there (a free shuttle 3 blocks away), I have been dreading the trip for the past couple weeks because the anemia makes it hard to walk very far. In addition to getting to the shuttle, itapos;s a bit of a walk to the department I have to go to. Yesterday, I made the trip for the first time since Iapos;ve been back to work. I was doing pretty good after I got to the department.. The research coordinator had all of the binders spread out in the conference room, so I didnapos;t have to do too much lifting and carrying. However, after a couple hours, we had to vacate the conference room and I moved to a desk. This meant that every time I needed a different binder I had to go get it and lug it back. These are not small binders... Many of them are 6" wide. After I was done, I had to walk back to the shuttle and by the time I got off the bus, the 2 blocks that were on a slight incline seemed like a steep hill. It was a long, slow, painful process and I still havenapos;t fully recovered. My sister, bless her, got me dinner last night. I wasnapos;t sure what the morning would bring, and although I was tired, I felt ok. I was supposed to go back to the medical center today, but my legs feel so weak when I get up to walk, that Iapos;ve decided to wait until tomorrow. I have to be over there tomorrow anyway for my genetic counseling appointment.

In other news, my thumbnails are starting to get fluid under them and they are loosening up. Iapos;ve also got some mild neuropathy in my hands. Hooray for the weird chemo side-effects.

crazy frog music

I am the worst.
I am always procrastinating.
I always seem to have too much drama between friends and family.
My bestfriend lives in Omaha Nebraska and since she has left I havent been all together. My room is messy and my car is a disaster. I am usually a pretty organized person. Losing people in life affect me though. I talk to my bestfriend everday but still it doesnt make things 100. My grandma was diagnosed with bladder cancer and had to have surgery. I always have family drama with who is gonna take care of who. I just cant handle it all sometimes.

I do put off things.
One because I have so much going on.
I do always finsh things though.
I never miss homework assignments in school.
ButI do put them off till the last day or miniute.
I do make good grades.

I have put writing my live journal entrys,
One becasue I run out of time between college apps and AP Statistic homework and life.

I hate cleaning my room,
the last few weeks have been the worst.
So unorganized and not caring about anything.
I am always procrastinating.

I feel like I have to say something, because I donapos;t want to have to get up to go pee and I still have 16 minutes of time to waste away. Hereapos;s a list of 10 things.

1. The asshole that was in my Celtic Studies class first semester who overuses hair-product (heapos;s white and his hair is of short/medium length).
2. My crossed legs that support my left arm while I type.
3. Runny, sad, egg-yolk ideas that always sort of swim around.
4. Jellyfish.
5. Itchiness.
6. Hereapos;s what I should be thinking about.
7. Discolor, rinse, deplorable (a shirt, or a skin problem).
8. Wandering, disparate eyes and short transitional states.
9. Pwny.
10. My broken Facebook account.

Somehow, Iapos;m under the impression that even though I want interesting things to happen to me on-demand, going out to random places at random hours is largely very hit or miss and not worth the BART fare and gimpy ankles. I bet if I recycled my ideas less Iapos;d find funnerer things to think about. Iapos;m going to try and forget more frequently.

behavior in modification workplace

Before thursday and friday, the last day off I had was Tuesday last week... And most people would probably say so what, thatapos;s only 7 days of work, but the way my schedule has been, I have been exhausted....
Itapos;s been:
Wednesday: Open (8-5)
Thursday: Close (5-1:30)
Friday: Close (6-2, almost 3) this was suppose to be my day off but Amy called me into close at River Road
Saturday: Close (5-2:30) this was the night that one of my closers quit, so I had to beg one of the guys to stay... (by the time I left, I was at 13 hours of overtime)
Sunday: Open (8-6) and of course, the next day was when two people called out on me, and we were wicked busy. I had to call people beg them to come in so it wouldnapos;t be me and one other person for 3 hours. And also, one of my crew got a threatening phone call from one of the girlapos;s boyfriends... Fun fun
Monday: Close (3-12:30) surprisingly, it went extremely well
Tuesday: Close (4-12:30) again, went pretty well... Even with the two guys making water balloons out of the condoms that someone left there... That has itapos;s own story.
Wednesday: Open (8-6) I was suppose to get out at 3, but it was a case of people calling out, leaving the covering manager with only one other person, so I stayed because I felt bad... And of course, 2 hours later I get called back because the fry station caught on fire.... I didnapos;t leave for a couple hours cause I was helping out by doing inventory of everything we had to throw out and the nightly paperwork...

And in between that I have been trying to have a life- I went down and saw the treasures of Brookline last Saturday with manda and chrissy. It was nice just wandering around the ball park looking at different businesses and things that people do in Brookline. Being at the ball park makes me feel like Iapos;m 12 again, as it always does. I just remember how I use to be there every saturday for our soccer games and Brianapos;s baseball... How adam and I would wander around digging in the trashes looking for sprite bottle caps for the prizes. How I use to beg my mom for money to buy hot dogs and gatorade after a game....

I need to go away for a couple days; I need a vacation. Luckily I have 6 days paid vacation coming my way... At least I think itapos;s 6. I had three in May, and then three in November. I never took the ones in May, so they should just add up and give me six days? I hope... That would be nice. I took a mini- mini vacation the end of September up to Maine with manda and Dave. And that was amazing. Daveapos;s work was having a BBQ/tailgating thing for the people at the marina on one of the islands, so we got to go out on Daveapos;s boat and spend the night . We moored next to his bossapos;s boat, which was a gorgeous sailboat, and we ate and hung out there. They were so nice and sweet, they adopted us. Everyone is Maine was really nice and really welcoming, so I didnapos;t even feel shy about talking to people. And they all knew Dave, which was kinda funny. He even got his own chance when we came up to the islands. Unfortunately, I could only stay the night, I had to be back at work the next day to close... It made me actually sad to have to leave; I so did not want to go to work....

Donapos;t get me wrong; I do enjoy my job for the most part. I like most of the crew (okay, so like 4 or 5 of them out of like 14 i can say I actually like, the rest I tolerate) but the ones that I do like, I have a lot of fun with. There usually is a lot of laughing and swearing and goofing off, but we still get stuff done. And I like my fellow manager Suzanne, so for the most part the job is enjoyable. I just have been burning the candle at both ends....

(Oh yes I will blog all the HIFF movies.)

Mexican drama/comedy Lake Tahoe was slow, with a distinct atmosphere, and Iapos;ve been thinking of certain parts of it over and over again. Right after seeing it, I rated it four stars out of five (we were asked to rate it for a competition), but now that itapos;s been a few weeks, Iapos;d give it just three. It was very nice, but all the pieces didnapos;t seem to fall in place. It looked very promising, though.

The plot was that a young man crashed his car on the outskirts of a small town in Mexico. He then walks to town and tries to look for a repairs shop, but some are closed and some are just plain weird. He encounters a lot of people on his odyssey, all different and all somehow strange and funny. The trivial task of getting the car repaired seems unimportant to the viewer from the beginning. We concentrate instead on the procession of people that marches past the unblinking young man who is just trying to get this one small thing taken care of.

Despite having an appearance of a gentle comedy, the film did have a tragic undercurrent. And this, I think, is where it fell short. The point was to give small glimpses to the young manapos;s less-than-happy family life (depressed mother, recently deceased father, younger sibling old enough to know things arenapos;t right but too young to process them) through ordinary, everyday details, but it somehow failed to touch me. But maybe the idea was actually to make the viewer feel as estranged from everything meaningful as the main character did. He had bix things in his life that he couldnapos;t fix, so he spent almost the whole length of the movie trying to fix his car instead.

Anyhow, I liked the Boxer.

bixby job

Took a peek outside this morning and noticed something odd about my car, a big ole hole in the window. Well shit. They tried to steal the radio, but only succeeded in bending where the faceplate clips in. I found a random piece of broken plastic. They stole the dollar or so in change from the ashtray. Overall I thought I got away pretty decently until I remembered the trunk. My camera bag WAS in there. Oh hell. Called the very nice lady at the insurance company and put in for a claim. The adjuster will take a look at it while Iapos;m out of town next week. Till then I am one of those lame people with cardboard taped over their windows. Sad.
